This young couple embarked a large-scale renovation of their home, with the goal of turning it into a beautiful, bright, and open space for relaxing and spending time with friends and family.  

Benchmark Building & Renovations removed a large chimney wall sectioning the kitchen off from expansive lake views, making room for a large island. To embrace the lakehouse feel while also keeping the space feeling bright and airy, we mixed bright white and deep navy cabinet colours, with a few pops of woodgrain accents for contrast. The large island houses a mini bar fridge and seating along bar stools, making it an inviting place to slow down, gather, and spend time together.
